About & Current ProjectYuji Yasunaga is a visual artist based in Augsburg and recipient of the 2018 Art Award of the City of Augsburg. His current project, Driver Runner – Post-Ino-Shiki, translates long-distance physical movement into hand-drawn conceptual maps and technical objects.Background: The General Orange LegacySince 2006, Yasunaga has operated under the moniker Project General Orange. This long-term practice — initiated in Japan and primarily developed in Germany — ranges from custom sound-gear duels to social interventions. This body of work forms the essential foundation of his current cartographic and conceptual practice.
